Center for Undergraduate Research Funding
Driven USciences students can obtain research funding with assistance from the Center for Undergraduate Research.
The USciences Summer Undergraduate Research Fund (USURF) supports students interested in conducting summer research in any USciences discipline under faculty mentorship. Research may take various forms, from lab experiments and data collection to community research and service learning projects.
USURF Fellowships are made possible via donations from Mr. Marvin Samson, CEO of Samson Medical Technologies and Chairman of USciences Board of Trustees.
CUR also assists students applying for funding from outside sources, including:
- National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowships (open to undergraduates intending to pursue graduate school in an NSF-sponsored STEM field)
- National Science Foundation (NSF) REU Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates
- Barry Goldwater Scholarships
- Gates Cambridge Scholarships
