New Book by Physics Professor Explores the Big Bang Debate
Paul Halpern, PhD, professor of physics at USciences, has recently published his new book titled Flashes of Creation: George Gamow, Fred Hoyle, and the Great Big Bang Debate, which explores a time when the Big Bang was an even greater source of controversy than it is today.
Dr. Halpern discusses the debate of the universe’s creation between Russian American physicist George Gamow and British Astrophysicist Fred Hoyle. The two historically disagreed, and ultimately Gamow is credited for coining the phrase “the Big Bang.”
Flashes of Creation will be available for purchase beginning August 17, 2021.
