Marc Storb PharmD'19Marc Storb PharmD'19 is on his critical care rotation during his Post-Graduate Year-1 Pharmacy Residency at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in New Jersey, which have about 50 intensive  care beds between both campuses.

Dr. Storb's daily activities include rounding with the Intensive Care Unit Team, managing critical care protocols, and attending all Medical Emergency Team Calls and codes in the hospital.

“One of the most rewarding aspects of my rotation is optimizing medication regimens and recommending additional medications when necessary for patients with COVID-19," he said. "The ICU team trusts me as the drug expert and regularly present me with challenging questions, requiring me to do research and read about COVID-19 on a daily basis.”

Dr. Storb said his experience at USciences and with faculty members helped prepare him for this experience. “I was provided a solid educational background and urging me to be a crucial member of a healthcare team,” he said.
