Louis J Lupo Named to Board of Trustees

LupoUSciences Board of Trustees has appointed a new board member, Louis J. Lupo P’76, PharmD’01, Board Chair James J. Rivard P’81, MBA announced Friday. 

Dr. Lupo is Director of Medical Affairs at Biohaven Pharmaceuticals. The position follows a 22-year career in medical affairs at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, he had more than 20 years of clinical practice in hospital pharmacy and home infusion therapy. 

Dr. Lupo has a long history of service at USciences, serving a previous term on the Board of Trustees as an alumni representative from 2007-2010. He has continued to contribute as a member of the Finance Committee and Investment Subcommittee. Dr. Lupo also served as an officer of the Alumni Association for 20 years, 14 years as Secretary before serving terms as President-Elect and President. In 1998, Dr. Lupo was honored with the association’s Ivor Griffith Service Award.
