Abhinav Illendula BMS’20 Earns Founders’ Day Award of Merit
An impressive undergraduate researcher who already earned a number of publications
to his name, Abhinav Illendula BMS’20 was presented the 2020 Undergraduate Student
Award of Merit during University of the Sciences’ 199th Founders’ Day Ceremony on
Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020.
Illendula, a biomedical sciences student, began research in his first year and his work in the laboratory has led to the characterization of an anti-triple negative breast cancer compound.
Illendula is a resident of Monmouth Junction and is currently applying to medical schools. In his free time, he enjoys music, building computers and cryptocurrency.
Each year, Founders' Day at USciences recognizes its establishment on Feb. 23, 1821, as Philadelphia College of Pharmacy-the first college of pharmacy in North America, which is now a part of USciences.
