2018 First Year Science & Interprofessional Health Fair

For students entering their first-year at USciences, gaining first-hand experience conducting and presenting research will become an integral part of their experience and pave the way to successful careers in healthcare and science. The annual First-Year Science and Interprofessional Health Fair is their first opportunity to do so.

At the fair, teams and individual students, present research into topics interesting to them and examine it from the perspective of their respective discipline. They create a poster and present to faculty and staff, explaining their research, the points they extrapolated and different ways it could be applied.

Interprofessional groups include students from pharmacy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and pre-professional degree tracks working together to understand the research in different ways.
