USciences Proven Everywhere Ad Campaign Named MarCom Awards Platinum Winner
University of the Sciences’ successful “Proven Everywhere” advertising campaign was named a Platinum Winner at the 2016 MarCom Awards, the highest honor from the international creative awards competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals.
The campaign, which was created in partnership with ab+c Creative Intelligence out of Wilmington, Del., features USciences students conducting hands-on research, real-world learning, and classroom preparedness that propels them into rewarding careers in science and healthcare fields. The campaign previously won the Gold Award and honorable mention at the 2015 MarCom Awards.
The MarCom competition receives about 6,000 entries each year from public relations organizations, local ad clubs, and local business communicator chapters.
“We are proud of the success of the campaign, not only for its award-winning design, but because it expertly communicates the successes of our students,” said Michael Schwartzman, executive director of marketing and communications at USciences. “Prospective students and their families are learning that the rigorous education, quality training, and hands-on learning that USciences students receive translates to successful careers and top salaries.”
The campaign has been airing on TV and radio and can also be seen in ads on SEPTA busses and trolleys, regional rail and PATCO, and on billboards throughout the region. These advertisements supplement year-round digital ads which supports every program on campus.
The campaign illuminates the outstanding career outcomes that USciences graduates receive, including an average graduate salary of $95,800 10 years after enrollment, according to the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard, making them the seventh highest earners in the country.
ab+c (Aloysius Butler & Clark), one of the region’s largest full-service marketing communications agencies, took home four other awards at the 2016 MarCom Awards. The agency received two platinum awards, one gold award, and two honorable mentions.
“Our work was judged alongside entries from Fortune 500 companies and huge media conglomerates, not to mention estimable agencies of all sizes worldwide,” said Paul Pomeroy, Managing Partner and Director of Marketing, ab+c. “Our entire team is very proud that our work stood apart in this extremely tough arena. While these awards demonstrate our creativity, they also speak to the relationships we nurture with our clients, as well as with each other.”
