Nancy Mansfield Named Director of University Development
With an extensive background in professional fundraising and business development,
Nancy Mansfield has been named director of university development at University of
the Sciences, it was announced recently by Teresa F. Winslow, vice president for institutional
advancement. Mansfield returns to the University after leaving to serve as the development
officer at New Jersey Audubon.
In her role at USciences, Mansfield will further support the University through annual
fundraising campaigns, special events, and long term projects as well as actively
engaging with alumni, donors, and prospective donors.
Mansfield was director of development and membership at The College of Physicians
of Philadelphia from 2012 to 2014. Aside from her time with The College of Physicians,
she also served as the executive director and chief development officer for Cape May
Stage, as well as director of leadership gifts and corporate and foundation relations
at The College of New Jersey. Additionally, she serves as the treasurer for the Association
of Fundraising Professionals. Mansfield also touts a business background, having worked
for HP Computer Corporation and DELL Computers earlier in her career.
Mansfield, who resides in Philadelphia, earned a BA from University of Massachusetts, as well as a nonprofit fundraising certificate from University of Pennsylvania, and an executive leadership program/field sales development program certificate from Babson College.
