"A special shout-out goes to the individuals who worked together in groups from their departments, offices, and student organizations to gather and donate multiple meals," said Walter W. Perry, EdD, associate dean of students and director of multicultural affairs at USciences. "Clearly, many individuals and groups across our campus stepped up to help others less fortunate in the surrounding neighborhoods, which is always a good cause, but especially during the holidays."

Dimitri Dimopoulos, owner of Allegro Pizza and Grill in University City, donated the frozen turkeys and the USciences community provided all the fixings for a traditional holiday meal, including stuffing, rolls, and mashed potatoes.
