M & W Devils Hoops Move on to CACC Semis on 3/6

The men’s and women’s basketball teams advanced to the semifinals of the CACC tournament.

The women ran past Post University 86-49. Brianne Traub PharmD'17 scored 27 points while grabbing 11 boards to lead the way for her 10th double-double of the season. Jessica Sylvester PharmD'17 added 15 points.

The men had a tougher time, needing to rally before sending Bloomfield College packing, 61-51. Trailing by eight with just seven minutes go, the defense turned up the heat, holding the Bears to just four points the rest of the half. Garret Kerr DPT-17 poured in 19 points and 15 rebounds while Sho Da-Silva HumSci'16 scored 12 points and a career-high 13 rebounds. 

The teams now get ready for their semifinal games, both at Philadelphia University on Friday, March 6:

Women 12 p.m. vs Holy Family
Men 5 p.m. vs Philly U
