Dr. Thaddeus McGiness Named Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at USciences
Thaddeus McGiness, PharmD, BCPS, has been named assistant professor of clinical pharmacy
at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. He comes to the University having recently
completed a two-year residency program specializing in pharmacotherapy at the University
of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
In his new role at USciences, Dr. McGiness will teach courses within the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration as well as participate in the internal medicine rounding service at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests include smoking cessation, transitions of care, internal medicine, and ambulatory care.
Dr. McGiness received his doctor of pharmacy degree from University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and a BS from Saginaw Valley State University with a major in biology and minor in chemistry.
