Class Schedule
All classes meet once per week from 6-9pm on Monday or Wednesday evenings. Please consult the academic calendar for semester start and end dates.
Students enrolled in Project in Brewing Science conduct projects in the brewing lab, and in the field at partner breweries, based on their own schedule.
Internship work schedule will be set at the discretion of the internship host site supervisor.
Suggested Progression of Coursework:
The USciences Brewing Science coursework can be completed in either 1+ or 2+ years. Both options are considered part time programs, and give you flexibility for personal or financial reasons.
If you are enrolled in the 1+ year schedule, you will take multiple courses in the Spring and Summer Semesters. The 2+ year option, will allow you to take just one course per semester. All students take Fundamentals of Brewing Science in the first (fall) semester. At that point, you can consult with the program director and choose the scheduling option that best fits your needs.
