Brewing Science Certificate - Costs & Financial Aid
In the fall of 2021, the tuition and fees based on your program of study will be frozen and stay at that level for the remainder of your time at USciences.

The University Administration reserves the right to make changes in tuition, fees, and room and board charges.
Eligible students in the graduate Brewing Science Certificate, enrolled at least half-time, are eligible to apply for federal student loans. Brewing Science Certificate students may also apply for Private (Alternative) Loans. Click here for information about loans that may be available.
BSG Scholarship for Women in Brewing
This $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to one deserving female enrolled in USciences Brewing Science Certificate Program. The recipient will be chosen based upon her drive to brew with the same standards as BSG follows to support the brewing community. Applicants must complete a personal statement describing what the three BSG key points mean to her, and how they would pertain to her future role in the industry. There is no limit to the number of words. Applicants must also provide two letters of recommendation, which supports her interest, passion, and drive for advancement in the brewing industry.
The Pink Boots Philly Scholarship
This $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to one deserving female fitting the following criteria:
- She must be accepted to or already enrolled in the USciences Brewing Science Certificate Program.
- She must be a member of Pink Boots Society.
Applying for Scholarships
Current scholarships and application instructions will be provided by the program director at the start of the first Fall or Spring semester, with awards announced at the Annual Pink Boots Symposium at USciences. Scholarships are typically awarded for the Spring or Summer semesters but are subject to change based on availability and amount of award.
