Biological Sciences, MS, PhD - Application Process

Cell Biology and Biotechnology, MS

Application Process

First:
Apply online

Then:

  • Submit official college transcripts from all colleges attended. If you attended USciences we will obtain this transcript for you.
  • Submit a 500-word personal statement explaining your short and long term study and career goals. Also, please identify at least two of the program’s faculty whose research interests align most closely with yours. Personal statement may be submitted as part of application via the application portal.
  • Submit resume or CV.
  • Submit three letters of recommendation.

Prerequisites

  • BS or BA in a scientific or health program from an accredited university or college, or currently be enrolled in an undergraduate/first-professional degree program at the University.
  • Background in two or more of the following areas: genetics, cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry.
  • Previous laboratory experience in at least two of these areas: cell biology, biotechnology, cell and molecular biology.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.

Required Examinations

TOEFL1

1International applicants only. IELTS scores may be submitted in lieu of TOEFL scores.
