Health Education and Communication Certificate – Curriculum and Duration

Students must successfully complete a total of 15 credit hours, including five three-credit courses: three required core courses (9 credits) and two electives (6 credits).

The following tables represent the program curriculum.

Students may select any graduate level health policy or behavioral and social science research methods course, including the choices listed above. Alternatively, students can choose up to 6 credits of independent study or directed research (e.g. PS799, BW890, or HP899) as approved by the program director.
