Department of Health Policy and Public Health
We educate the next generation of health policy and public health professionals, putting our students out in front of major health policy developments. Through our interdisciplinary approach, you’ll emerge prepared to contribute to the understanding of the healthcare system and public health in industry, academia, consulting, and government.
We believe that research and innovation are integral to improving education and effecting social change across the world. That’s why we foster an intellectual environment that inspires students and faculty to engage in scholarship, garners extramural funding, and develops intellectual property that provides or enhances social benefits.
We’re also committed to serving the broader communities at the local, national, and global levels. Faculty members lead committees of national professional societies, advise government agencies and officials, and consult with private and nonprofit organizations.
