    Graduate Student Orientation

    Graduate Student Orientation is held prior to each fall and spring semester for students to visit and familiarize themselves with USciences campus, faculty and staff. Graduate students are required to join us for the upcoming Orientation (unless enrolled in online programs):

    At Orientation, you will:

    • Receive your Student ID card
    • Meet your program director, faculty, and fellow students
    • Register for classes
    • Activate your USciences email and network accounts
    • Learn how to access WebAdvisor (the student information system), Blackboard (the course management system), and remote Library resources

    Registration has closed, but walk-ins are welcome.

     

    Fall Semester Orientation

    MS, PhD, and Certificate Students

    Online students are welcome to attend, but are not required to do so.

    • 5:00–5:30 pm  Welcome and Check-in
    • 5:30–7:00 pm  Student Resource Fair
        • University IDs
        • Meet with Program Directors and Course Selection

        • Obtaining Network Access and Course Registration

    International Students

    These students MUST attend both dates.

    • 1:00–1:30 pm  Meet and greet new students
    • 1:30–3:00 pm  Orientation presentation
    • 3:00–4:00 pm  Campus tour
