MLK Day of Service

The MLK Day of Service Planning Committee has coordinated a wide range of service projects and activities for students, faculty and staff to participate in during USciences MLK Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sign up online to participate.

To honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the University community will be united for a day of service dedicated to bettering the community, empowering individuals, and bridging barriers. While classes have been canceled during this time, MLK Day of Service is a day on, not a day off.

10 a.m. -11 a.m.

Volunteer Check-In and Kick-Off

Volunteers must arrive no later than 10:30 a.m.

USciences Staff Assembly will also be conducting a clothing drive for Career Wardrobe throughout the day in the Athletic Recreation Center. Donations of work attire for both men and women and toiletry items will be accepted. For more information, contact Jenna Pizzi at j.pizzi@usciences.edu.
