USciences Students Judge Science and Humanities Competition

Published on March 22, 2019

Isaac Hutchinson PhSci’19, undergraduate representative on the International Executive Council of Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity , volunteered as a guest judge at the Philadelphia Junior Science and Humanities Symposium on Saturday, March 16, 2019 with other students as part of a community service project.

Hutchinson said:

Being able to be a guest judge at the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium was an awesome experience! It was great being able to hear from some of the up and coming minds of the Philadelphia school system. I judged four separate twelve minute presentations on topics ranging from smart bike helmets to advanced drug delivery systems. Needless to say some of these students were intelligent way beyond their years. Overall a great opportunity for myself and the other students that attended from our school.
