USciences Psychology Students Attend International Meeting

Five USciences students attended the International Society for Autism Research annual
meeting from May 1 -4, 2019, in Montreal.
Brittney Mahoney Bio’19 and Julia Leung PharmD‘19 were authors on two posters, “Quantitative and Qualitative Features of Co-Speech Gesture in Verbally Fluent Individuals with ASD” and “Contextual Differences in Gesture Production in Verbally Fluent individuals with ASD.”
Casey Theriault Psy’20, Shannon Watson Neuro’20, and Kayley Watson HPsy’20 also attended the conference. Students attended a range of interdisciplinary sessions on topics including genetics, psychology, and education.
