Students Look to the Stars at SPS Astronomy Night

SPS Astronomy Night

Over 70 students participated in Astronomy Night, hosted by the USciences chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS) on November 11, 2021. Attendees gathered on the campus quad to look at the moon and night sky using the physics program’s large reflective telescope. The event featured astronomy themed prize raffles, as well as snacks from Insomnia Cookies. 

USciences’ SPS is a nationally recognized, award winning chapter of SPS, receiving five consecutive Outstanding Chapter Awards.
