Students Get Instant Answers at Research Speed Meet

Undergraduate students participate in research speed meet eventUSciences held it's second Research Speed-Meet event between faculty and undergrads interested in research last Dec 3, 2019. Sixteen faculty from different disciplines participated. A total of 73 student meetings were held in the hour-long event.

Faculty and students met in pre-arranged time-slots for five minutes. Students got instant answers in a high-speed, welcoming environment to questions about faculty research, expectations from student researchers and how to proceed with seeking opportunities.

The event was organized by Roberto Ramos, PhD, associate professor of physics, who is the founding director of the Center for Undergraduate Research.
