Professor Publishes Study Findings for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Assistant Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience Ashley de Marchena, PhD, along with collaborators, published their study involving children with autism spectrum disorder. The team tested susceptibility to contagious itching, laughter, and yawning in children with autism spectrum disorder and typically developing children. 

Among their findings, the research team found that children living with autism spectrum disorder were more susceptible to contagious itching than their typically developing peers.
