Published on December 20, 2021

Two USciences physics students presented at the Fall 2021 Meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Section (MAS) of the American Physical Society (APS) held at Rutgers University in Camden, NJ.

Kayla Dickert PHYS’24 presented her poster, “Wonder Girls Camp: A Virtual Physics Camp for Middle School Girls in the Pandemic,” and Dan Fauni PHYS’23 presented “Construction of Detection Electronics to Assess Superconducting-to-Normal Switching Events in a Josephean Junction.”

Both students received funding for their work. Dickert was supported by an energy grant from Constellation, while Fauni’s presentation was funded by the Charles Kaufman Foundation’s IREG Grant.
