Physics Society Hosts DIY Electronic Circuit Art Event

LED cardThe Society of Physics Students (SPS) hosted a do-it-yourself electronic circuit art event on USciences campus on Dec. 4, as part of their educational outreach during the holidays.  

The mixture of art and physics attracted a good number of non-physics majors who made who made greeting cards and artwork that incorporated powered circuit elements such as LEDs (light-emitting diodes). The USciences chapter of SPS is a nationally-awarded chapter which has received several thousands of dollars to fund their creative physics outreach efforts on both on-campus and off-campus venues.
