Physics Course Examines How the Brain Works

Biophysics BrainA new course offered by the Department of Mathematics. Physics, and Statistics titled “Biophysics of the Brain” allows students to study how the brain works. 

The course (PY 415/NS415) will be offered in Fall 2021 and requires students to have taken MA110 or any calculus course and PY201/202 or PY211/212. 

The course will add a new perspective and expand the horizons of those interested in psychology and neuroscience by examining networks, connectome, and allows students to model complex systems.
