Physical Therapy Students Receive Awards

PT AwardsGraduating students in the doctor of physical therapy program were acknowledged with awards on Wednesday April 17.

SeimerAwardees included Kara Seimer DPT’19 who won the Packman Family Award in PT for highest GPA in professional curriculum.

Stephanie Grethel DPT’19 and Ally Patterson DPT’19 were awarded the Physical Therapy Faculty Award for PT candidates who demonstrate outstanding performance in all aspects of PT.

Saqib Habib DPT’19, Mark Frasco DPT'19, Cara Garcia DPT'19, and Christine Sensing DPT'19 were awarded the William B. Inverso Jr. Award for Excellence in PT Research for their project “"Effect of Heavy Resistance Training vs Stretching on Cognition in College Female Students” with faculty mentor Eric Folkins.
