Pharmacy Students’ Poster Selected As Finalist at Convention

Daniel Peterson PharmD’19 and Scott Scheiblen PharmD’19 presented at the 28th Annual Pediatric Pharmacy Assocation’s Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group
meeting in Oklahoma City, OK. Their poster was selected as a top 5 finalist for Outstanding
Original Research Paper from among more than 100 posters presented.
Their research entitled “Ceftriaxone and Metronidazole versus Piperacillin/Tazobactam for Treatment of Pediatric Perforated Appendicitis” was conducted with Danielle Alm PharmD, assistant professor of clinical pharmacy.
