OT Student Selected For National Scholarship

Erica HellersteinErica Hellerstein MOT'19 was selected among a national pool of applicants as a Future Scientist in Occupational Therapy. She will receive a scholarship to attend the Summer Institute of Future Scientists in Occupational Therapy in 2018.

Program participants will meet with leading occupational therapy scientists to address topics such as possibilities within occupational therapy science and career opportunities as a scientist. The purpose of the Institute is to identify potential scientists in entry-level occupational therapy programs, to connect potential entry-level scientists with mentors in the occupational therapy scientific community, and to develop a peer network of researchers.
