Published on June 22, 2017
Paula Kramer PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA recently published a new book on occupational therapy.
"Perspectives on Human Occupation: Theories underlying Practice" is a who’s who of theorists, educators, and practitioners and explores the concept of “occupation” and its role as the foundation for occupational therapy practice today. Each contributor explains the conceptual models, frameworks, paradigms, or theoretically-based guidelines that they have developed over many years of practice, experience, and research. Case studies at the end of each chapter illustrate how theory translates into real-world practice in the field.
