Neuroscience Students Get Hands-on Experience at Symposium

Two neuroscience majors attended the 5th Annual Neurosurgery Symposium at Philadelphia
College of Osteopathic Medicine on Jan. 12, 2018.
During the program, hosted by PCOM’s Neurosurgery Residency Program, Hayden Sando Neuro’20 and Olivia DeLorenzo Neuro’20 gained hands-on experience with cutting edge, medical approaches in the cadaver lab.
During the symposium they also heard several lectures from experts about things like adult spinal deformity, stereotactic radiosurgery, and immunotherapy in Neuro-oncology.
