Misher Professor Receives NIH Subaward Through UPenn

Professor of chemistry and biochemistry, and associate professor of bioinformatics Randy Zauhar, MS, PhD, has been awarded a National Institutes of Health (NIH) subaward via the University of Pennsylvania.
This award will continue for four years, and will be funding a collaborative project entitled “Deconstructing and Modeling the Single Call Architecture of the Age-Related Macular Degeneration Retina and RPE/Choroid.”
Dr. Zauhar’s major contribution to the project largely involves the development and application of computational methods.
