Giving Tuesday Funds Support Physical Therapy Students' Mission Trip

The Department of Physical Therapy presented five students with $200 each to support an upcoming medical mission trip to Costa Rica on Thursday, Feb. 21. The $1,000 in funding was raised through donations to the department on USciences Giving Tuesday.
The students — Jenna Duncan DPT'20, Sean Olaso DPT'20, Yamilla Nicaso DPT'20, Kelsey Wolfe DPT'20, and Jonathan Caughey DPT'20 — will be volunteering to provide therapy to individuals in Costa Rica alongside occupational therapy students during spring break under the oversight of professor Greg Thielman PT, EdD.
