50 USciences Community Members Participate in Walk Against Hate
Published on November 17, 2020
The USciences community participated in the Anti Defamation League's annual Walk Against Hate last month. 50 members of the University community took part in the virtual walk from October 1 through 18.
The walk, in its tenth year, allows people from all backgrounds and beliefs to come together to create and advocate for an inclusive, diverse, and respectful community.
USciences is a proud supporter of ADL’s mission “to secure justice and fair treatment to all”, and welcomes the opportunity to join with a century-old respected civil rights organization to advance equity and shine a light on the hatred and bigotry that has become so emboldened and, as such, is participating in the Walk Against Hate for the second consecutive year.
