Lisa Charneski, PharmD, has been named the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, Assistant Dean of Curriculum


Along with Laura Pontiggia, PhD, Ashley Y. Russell MPH'18, and Jean-Francois Jasmin, PhD, Isabelle Mercier, PhD, authored an article entitled “CAPER as a Therapeutic target for Triple Negative Breast Cancer,” that was accepted for publication in Oncotarget.


 Dorela Priftanji PharmD'17, Michael J. Cawley PharmD'96, Laura A. Finn P'84, James M. Hollands, PharmD, and Angela L. Bingham, PharmD, had their article, "Performance and retention of basic life support skills improve with a peer-led training program," published in the recent edition of Currents in Pharmacy Training and Learning


 Along with co-authors, Angela L Bingham, PharmD, had an article, "Significant published articles for pharmacy nutrition support practice in 2017," published in Hospital Pharmacy


Mansi Chawathe PhD'18 and Sriramakamal Jonnalagadda PhD with their co-authors had an article, "Design of hybrid molecular brushes with reversible surface adaptability on exposure to specific solvents," published in the July/August 2018 edition of Biointerphases


Dr. Elizabeth Speakman, Associate Provost for Interprofessional Education was the keynote speaker at the 2018 NLN Leadership Institute. She presented "The Challenges of Interprofessional Education & Collaborative Practice: What Leaders Ought to Know."

She was also invited to present a webinar for the Global Institute for Simulation Training entitled "Using the Realism of Simulation to Teach the Tenets of Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice."


Dr. Gregory Thielman was notified that his research entitled, “Priming with tDCS: Expanding the Window of Recovery in Chronic Stroke” has recieved funding from the REACT Center Pilot Studies Program.
