Faculty Member Receives Grant to Study Breast Cancer

Isabelle Mercier PhD, associate professor of pharmaceutical sciences, received a one-year grant from the W.W. Smith Charitable Trust. Dr. Mercier will use
the grant and collaborate with Cooper Medical School of Rowan University to study
breast cancer metastases mechanisms.
The W.W. Smith Charitable Trust is a private foundation that makes grants in the Greater Philadelphia Area to further medical research in the areas of heart disease, cancer, and AIDS.
