Facilities Department Using Summer Break to Update Campus

USciences Facilities Services is using the summer break to keep campus looking as fresh as possible for when students arrive in August for the Fall 2019 semester.

Dennis Collins, director of facilities and support services, is leading the team on the various projects that range from small touch-ups like painting walls to larger jobs such as relocating offices to new buildings.

Here are a few of the projects facilities is working on:

  • Relocating occupants of 4100 Chester Ave. to Goodman Hall
  • Replacing the main entrance doors on the IPEX building
  • Backflow replacement at Osol Hall and Pharmacology/Toxicology Center
  • Upgrading restrooms in Whitecar and Griffith Halls

Some of the largest projects will continue into the fall semester.
