DPT Students Go Red for Women

Students in the USciences Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program showed their support for the Go Red for Women initiative from the American Heart Association. Students from the DPT class of 2022 and 2023 wore red to their virtual classes for National Wear Red Day on February 5, 2021.

Go Red for Women is a national campaign organized by the American Heart Association, and aims to increase early recognition of the symptoms of cardiovascular disease and stroke in women. The campaign also aims to reduce the risk of a cardiovascular event by encouraging physical activity and exercise.
