Diane Morel Takes Position at South College

Diane Morel, PhD, has accepted the position of associate dean for academic affairs and assessment in the School of Pharmacy at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her last day will be June 21, 2017. Dr. Morel joined the University in 1997 as associate professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She served as the program director for the BS pharmacology-toxicology program from 2004-12. From 2009, she has served as assistant dean of curriculum and assessment in PCP. Dr. Morel found a true passion in this area, and she has been a leader and driver in the design and implementation of the new competency-driven pharmacy curriculum and the College’s assessment program.
