Biological Sciences and Neuroscience Professor Published in National Center for Case Study Teaching in Science

Nicole Sunnen, PhD, assistant professor of biological sciences and neuroscience at USciences, has published her Problem Based Learning (PBL) Case Study in the National Center for Case Study Teaching in Science. Dr. Sunnen’s PBL Case Study on the Female Reproductive System and Early Pregnancy is entitled, “I’m Having a What?!” 

The case study aims to embark students in a repetitive process of identifying learning issues and conducting research to discover essential information regarding probable cause(s) of miscarriage and additionally knowledge in regards to prevention of unplanned pregnancies and miscarriages in the future.
