Bioinformatics Graduate Recognized by United Health Group

Eli Halpern MS’19 (Bioinformatics), currently working for Optum, the technical branch of United Health Group, is the first student to graduate from USciences’ Integrated Graduate Credit Program (ICGP). The ICGP is an accelerated MBA program offered by USciences to undergraduate students.
Halpern, son of long-time USciences physics professor Dr. Paul Halpern, received his BS in Chemistry and his MS in Bioinformatics. Upon graduation, Halpern was hired by Optum, and his year of working there has brought many successes as well as opportunities for personal and professional growth.
