Amy Janke, PhD, Professor and Chair of Behavioral and Social Sciences at USciences, was presented the C. Tracy Orleans Distinguished service award by the Society of Behavioral Medicine for her work as a board member for the past 4 years and her leadership on the Scientific and Professional Liaison Council (SPLC).
The society of Behavioral Medicine targets the promotion of research in the behavioral medical field and Dr. Janke’s role as the chair of the Scientific and Professional Liaison Council aims to maximize resources available to members to improve advocacy, educational opportunities, and the overall growth of connections and professional development.
