APTANJ Honors PT Adjunct Dr. Tim Bayruns for Commitment to Teaching

Timothy Bayruns, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, has made a lasting impact on countless of individuals that have crossed his path throughout his 33-year career as an Orthopaedic Board Certified Specialist-both patients and peers.
The American Physical Therapy Association of New Jersey's (APTANJ) recognized Dr. Bayruns for his contribution to the physical therapy education by honoring him with the 2017 James Tucker Excellence in Clinical Practice and Teaching Award.
Dr. Bayruns, who has been an APTANJ member since 1984, is an adjunct lab instructor in the USciences PT department since 2015, and this past winter was the clinical instructor for Steven Kreh DPT’17.
This award recognizes outstanding clinicians and clinical teachers in the state of New Jersey, who have made significant contributions to the practice of physical therapy.
