Annual Philadelphia Grain and Malt Symposium has Successful Fifth Year

Published on March 15, 2021

The 5th annual Philadelphia Grain and Malt Symposium was held virtually on March 8-9, 2021. Over 150 people joined the symposium over the two full days of programming. The Grain and Malt Symposium supports and strengthens the local grain and malt supply chain by connecting farmers, maltsters, millers, bakers, brewers, distillers, and consumers.

The USciences Brewing Science program serves as co-founding organizer and host for the event. Matt Farber, PhD, director of the brewing science certificate program, was one of over 40 presenters at this year’s virtual event.
