Alumna Speaks to Students During Biological Seminar Series
Published on March 24, 2020
Stephanie Noblit MT’14, Esq., a legislative attorney and alumna of University of the
Sciences, spoke as part of the Biological Seminar Series in February. Noblit originally
started her career at Hospital University of Pennsylvania in toxicology but decided
that she had a greater passion for policy and law and became a licensed lawyer.
Noblit spoke to USciences students about political science and the intersection between science, law, and policy. She spoke of the difficulties in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry in regards to the opioid crisis. Noblit encouraged students that the best way to help in the opioid crisis is to become sensitive to the issues and to not always rely on technology.
More importantly, she stressed that students should rely on the critical thinking skills that gained as part of their #USciences education to help them find success in their chosen fields.
