Distance Learning Complaint Process for Out-of-State and Out-of-State-Field-Experience Students

University of the Sciences (USciences) is committed to resolving student grievances, complaints and concerns in an expeditious, fair and amicable manner. Students residing outside of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania while attending USciences who desire to resolve a grievance should follow the University’s Student Grievance Policy, as provided in the most recent USciences Student Handbook. However, if an issue cannot be resolved internally, you may file a complaint with your State. The Student Grievance Contact Information for Individual States provides phone numbers, email addresses and/or links to state education agencies.

Maryland Residents:

University of the Sciences is registered with the Maryland Higher Education Commission as an out-of-state institution offering online education to Maryland residents.


The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia career school is not regulated in Texas under Chapter 132 of the Texas Education Code.

The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia is accredited in Pennsylvania by a board-recognized accreditor, Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
