Administrative Offices A-Z

Alumni Relations is part of the Office of Institutional Advancement. We are here to help you share information, find classmates, become more involved with the institution, or make a gift in support a vibrant future for USciences and its students.
Though University of the Sciences is an academic institution focused on learning and research, we are also a member of and a neighbor to the local community in West Philadelphia. The Office of Community and Government Affairs helps the university fosters relationships within this community so we may contribute positively to the neighborhood we call home.

The Controller’s Office at University of the Sciences manages all fiscal operations related to the institution.
The USciences Print & Copy Center provide print and related production services to the general public, students, University departments and faculty. We can produce brochures, flyers, postcards, newsletters, business cards, forms and other printed materials at very competitive pricing.
It is the policy of the University of the Sciences to provide a safe working environment for its faculty, staff, and students. Therefore, the Environmental Health and Radiation Safety (EHRS) Department is committed to providing an environment that has a risk level as low as reasonably achievable.
Facilities Services offers comprehensive services to the University of the Sciences including a full range of building trades services which are responsible for routine maintenance and minor alterations, custodial, grounds maintenance, locksmith, moving and setup services.
The Finance and Administration Division has the fiduciary responsibility to safeguard the University's financial assets and manage its financial resources in accordance with its strategic long-term goals and in compliance with applicable laws and generally accepted accounting principles.
The Financial Aid Office is here to help guide students through the process of applying for, receiving, and retaining financial assistance towards their college education.
The Office of General Counsel manages the legal affairs of USciences. It provides legal counsel, litigation and legal risk management, contract drafting and review, compliance oversight and preventative advice to the University.
Responsible for managing human capital at the University of the Sciences, Human Resources engages in all matters related to hiring, development, and advocates for a friendly, safe, and productive work environment at the institution.

The mission of Institutional Advancement is to advance University of the Sciences—to move it forward through communications and marketing, to build and cultivate relationships with alumni, students and friends, and to raise funds in support of the institution's people and programs.
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness has the primary responsibility of collecting, analysing, interpreting and communicating data, both internal and external, to help inform institutional planning and decision-making.
We serve the University in the capacity of mail handling and parcel shipping. We use computerized mail metering equipment, a high-speed folder-inserter, and internet tracking of overnight mail deliveries and UPS shipments.
An arm of the University’s Institutional Advancement Division, the Marketing and Communications Department supports the Division’s mission to advance USciences through development, implementation, evaluation, and refinement of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy.

Our office supports the functions of the president of University of the Sciences.
The health and well-being of students, faculty, and staff are of the utmost concern to University of the Sciences. That’s why we take a proactive, precautionary approach in ensuring the safety of all members of the University community.
The Purchasing Department supports University of the Sciences, faculty, and staff in the procurement of services and materials, ensuring long-term and short-term needs are met while streamlining the process of purchasing.
Handling all matters regarding academic records, the Registrar’s Office is here to assist students at the University of the Sciences with transcripts, course enrollment, and other aspects of student record keeping.
The mission of the Office of Risk Management is to minimize the potential for physical, financial and reputational loss to the University by identifying and evaluating areas of potential exposure to risk and putting measures in place to reduce those risks.

The Office of Student Accommodations has been designated by the University to assist students with disabilities in order that they may access and participate in the opportunities available at the University.
The mission of the President’s Commission on Sustainability is to integrate sustainability and stewardship into all aspects of campus life and the community.
Technology Services consists of both Academic Technology and our USciences Internet Technology (IT) department. We assist with all matters related to computing and network connectivity on campus, ensuring reliable access across campus and providing support and troubleshooting for technology issues.
