• Any revised copies done previously
• Textbook and other source materials for the assignment

What to Expect from your Appointment:

• A trained reader's response, focusing on the assignment's directions, writing a clear thesis, thinking and organizing logically, providing adequate and appropriate support, and using accurate diction
• Help with interpreting the teacher's suggestions for revision
• Assistance in finding and correcting patterns of error in punctuation and grammar

After Your Appointment:

• The Writing Center notifies teachers of your appointment, indicating the length of the appointment and what areas were discussed (e.g., thesis, organization, word choice, grammar).
