The Writing Center, located in Alumni Hall 4216-6 on Woodland Ave, provides free one-on-one writing assistance with course writing assignments, research papers, PowerPoint slides, and personal statements. Undergraduate and graduate students meet with peer tutors for sessions up to 30 minutes. The Writing Center also provides Writing Seminars for first-year writing students who need to enhance their writing skills. Some first-year writing students in WR 101 and WR 102 will be required to attend scheduled Writing Seminars. The Writing Center also offers writing assistance to all University faculty and staff.

We do not proofread or correct your paper for you; however, you do read your paper aloud to your peer tutor; this helps you to self-correct your errors
We do not proofread take home exams, unless you provide written permission from your instructor indicating permits you to take your written exam to the writing center for review and assistance.
