received a one-year $125,000 grant from the County of Los Angeles for “Evaluation of Employment and Education Outcomes in CalWORKS GAIN Program.” This project assesses the success of LA County’s Welfare to Work program in facilitating educational and employment objectives for welfare recipients.
received a six-month $33,000 grant from Abt Associates for “Analysis of the Use of Mainstream Services Systems by Families in the Homebase Evaluation through Analysis of Administrative Data.” This project examines the extent to which a homelessness prevention program in New York City impacts collateral services used in other social services systems.
